Golden Hour Portraits: Emily/ Stromlo Forest

It is only recently, after moving to Canberra 2 years ago, that I've really started to appreciate the beauty of Australian native plants- the silvery green greys of eucalyptus leaves, the flaxen native grasses and the creamy off-white bark that can be seen at sprawling properties just outside town. Funny how I never really took notice of any of these things growing up in Sydney.

After a photoshoot session at the Old Stromlo Observatory with Canberra model Emily Egan, we did a little detour to a rocky area of bush that had the most beautiful shrubbery. How unbelievable does it look with Emily's red hair and porcelain skin?
