Branding headshots // Hannah Walker Styling

I had the pleasure of photographing branding images for the launch of Hannah Walker Styling. Hannah’s Canberra based styling business is all about helping her clients curate a beautiful wardrobe that enhances their authentic selves.

We started the session chatting about her brand and what she wanted to convey through her images on her website and social media. Hannah wanted to have portraits that were chic but also relatable, with a very relaxed ‘lifestyle’ feel. On the day, we started with some laid back portraits and coffee at my fave - Barrio cafe. From there we explored the buzzing Lonsdale St in Braddon and found this gorgeous gem ‘Lost Vintage’.

It turned out to be a really fun morning, and Hannah absolutely killed it.

Nea Zoi Jewellery x Wiluna Studios lookbook

I was part of a creative collaboration between Canberra based businesses Wiluna Flower Studio and Concept Space and Nea Zoi The Brand. The beautiful minimalist jewellery pieces from Nea Zoi were set in the airy Wiluna studio space, amongst touches of dried and fresh florals. Nea Zoi is a passion project by Amalia Stavreas (of Dimitries Jewellers) for ocean conservation.

Wearable Art : Shooting for Australian Brand One Of Twelve

At the end of last year I was fortunately enough to be involved with the brand launch of Australian clothing company One Of Twelve. I was commissioned to create some product and editorial style photos with the founder and creative director of One Of Twelve- Anna Saboisky.

I absolutely love the aesthetic of the brand, the incredible artwork on the scarves, and the quality of the silk.

" One of Twelve is an Australian organisation that showcases the work of emerging and established artists from the Asia Pacific region. We are dedicated to celebrating and contributing to the art sector of this region in a tangible way, by the production of high quality, silk garments depicting collaborating artists work. These unique pieces are each accompanied by an artist card, detailing the maker’s work and practice. "

Authentic Design: An editorial

I loved being part of this editorial which explores authenticity of design and the journeys of four extremely talented furniture designers. It is truly inspiring to see the amount of talent in Canberra- what I would now consider a melting pot of creative energy and a (surprising?) shift from how things were even as recently as 5 years ago.

Models // Bronte Morgan and Alexandra Rubio (Haus Models)

Creative direction // Jessica Di Scipio and Stephanie Tallos

Words // Stephanie Tallos

Makeup // Steph Church

Published // Big Ink Magazine Issue 19

Furniture design // Chelsea Lemon, Nicholas Harper, Peter Bollington, Rolf Barfoed

Food photography: Pasta People Canberra Shoot

It was my absolute pleasure to do a photoshoot for Pasta People, who are expanding the online presence and ecommerce for their pasta store (currently at the Old Bus Depot Markets in Canberra). Very soon now their popular flavoured dried pasta and preservative free vacuum sealed sauces will be available to be purchased online. Hurrah! Gluten intolerant pasta lovers should be pretty excited about their gluten free pasta offerings too.

It was a really fun shoot, with Lily and I working on the food styling; her husband working as the lighting assistant (reflector holder); Phil working as errand boy; and food photography by me. Eating the cooked dishes at the end was a team effort.
